Disabled access                                                                                                                                                          A popular request on Composite doors is for them to be fitted with a low threshold. This can be achieved in two ways. The first is to weld a low level PVC-u frame threshold in the bottom of the door, which allows for a slightly smaller threshold. The second and most effective design is to manufacture the door with an aluminium threshold which has a small up-stand of only 20mm, making it ideal for easy access and disabled access.
